President Joe Biden issued a strong condemnation of the former president on Tuesday Donald Trump‘s supporters are comedians Tony Hinchcliffe who recently made a controversial “joke” that Puerto Rico was a “floating island of trash.”
In a video Tuesday, Biden said: “Donald Trump has no character. He doesn’t care about the Latino community…recently a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of trash? … The only trash I see is his supporters floating around there.”

A White House spokesperson later claimed to an NBC News correspondent Gabe Gutierrez that Biden referred only to Hinchcliffe and not to Trump’s supporters as a whole.
As you know, Hinchcliffe made the comments about Puerto Rico at Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden in New York this weekend.
