Since their last royal Christmas in 2018, Harry and Meghan have received an invitation to stay in every year Sandringham House in Norfolk, where the royal family spends the holidays. However, the 2022 and 2023 Sussex invites remain in dispute, both of which were under King Charles III.
The possible lack of an invitation this year, and reports indicating that such invitations will not happen in the future, has led a Hollywood insider to call the criticism “a new low” for the royal family.
“To be honest, I don’t think the King has invited them to things anymore because they have consistently declined the invitations for years,” a palace source said of His Majesty’s position on extending visit offers to Team Sussex. “It doesn’t necessarily mean he hates them forever; at the end of the day, they are still his youngest son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.”
This prompted the Spencer family insider to add: “An invitation hasn’t been sent out to Sandringham yet, but that doesn’t mean one won’t appear. It would be highly unlikely if an invitation were to be sent out.” [to Sandringham] and I don’t think they[theSussexes)wouldtakethemuponitanyway”[deSussexes)erhoedanookmeeaandeslagzoudengaan”[theSussexes)wouldtakethemuponitanyway”
