Queen Camilla pulls out of another major event due to a chest infection

Regarding Camilla’s last-minute cancellation, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said in a statement: “Following a recent respiratory infection, the Queen continues to experience some lingering post-viral symptoms, as a result of which doctors have advised that, after a busy week of her duties, she should Her Majesty prioritises adequate rest.

“It is therefore with great regret that she has withdrawn from taking part in tonight’s Royal Variety Performance.”

While Camilla focuses on getting “plenty of rest,” cancer-stricken Charles will continue his normal schedule.

The palace spokesperson confirmed: “His Majesty will attend as planned.”
