Queen Elizabeth II wasn’t a fan of it Donald Trump.
RadarOnline.com can reveal the late monarch, who dead in September 2022, at the age of 96, he once called the former president “very rude” after visiting Buckingham Palace for the first time.
Author Craig Brown, in his new book A journey around the queenwrote: “For example, a few weeks after President Trump’s visit, she confided to a lunch guest that she found him ‘very rude.’
“She especially hated the way he couldn’t stop looking over her shoulder, as if he were looking for others who were more interesting.”
According to Brown, Queen Elizabeth also had her doubts about Trump and his wife Melanianow 54.
He continued: ‘She also believed President Trump’there has to be some kind of arrangement‘ with his wife Melania, or why else would she have stayed married to him?’
Trump, now 78, visited Buckingham Palace twice during his only term as president from 2017 to 2021.
The first was for a ‘working visit’ in 2018, a year after his inauguration. He visited again in June 2019 for a state banquet following the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
During his first visit, he faced backlash for keeping the beloved monarch waiting for ten minutes in the 75°F heat. Trump raised eyebrows again when he suddenly stopped walking and forced the queen to go around him.
But Trump said he and Queen Elizabeth had a “great relationship” — even though she called him “very rude” shortly after his first visit to Buckingham Palace in 2018.
He once told me Fox News: “We were laughing and having fun. And her people said she hasn’t had this much fun in 25 years.
“Then I got criticized for it because they said we were having too much fun. I feel like I know her so well and she certainly knows me very well at the moment, but we have a very good relationship with Britain. “
