Rita Braver, ‘Sunday Morning’ support pillar on CBS, is planning to retire

Rita Braver, who has recorded for more than half a century at CBS News and is known for its reporting on “CBS Sunday morning”, plans to retire at the end of March from the Paramount Global News operation, according to a memo that was sent to Staffers on Wednesday.

“In her decades on Sunday morning she did it all: news breaking … soft functions … political issues … stories about art and theater … Personality profiles … If we had a story, Rita was always interested … And always made time,” said Rand Morrison, the executive producer of the long -running series, in the Memo.
