Sami Zayn must be removed from the Royal Rumble because of injury; Surprise name to replace him? Exploring the possibility

Sami Zayn explained his official entry for the Royal Rumble 2025 during this week’s WWE RAW. The OG Bloodline member has also informed everyone, including Roman Reigns, and claimed that he would win the game because he now wants the world title. Kevin Owens soon interrupted him and welcomed Sami by saying how they would stay best friends forever, because Sami is a person who forgives him.

In the meantime, KO created a scenario during their conversation in which Zayn would help him during the Ladder match against Cody Rhodes on Royal Rumble 2025 if necessary. Similarly, if Sami needed help in the Royal Rumble competition for men, the self-proclaimed Winged Eagle champion would be there to support him because he wanted Sami to win.

However, if the honorary doctorate does not accompany whether KO helps to beat the American nightmare at the Rumble, fans could see Owens expressing his frustration with Sami Zayn. In a potential scenario, Kevin Owens can confront the OG Bloodline -member Backstage after he possibly loses Rhodes. Here he could argue with Sami about the abandonment of their band as best friends. In frustration, Ko was able to launch a beatdown on Sami and fully brutalize him, so he was unable to participate in the exaggerated battle.

This incident can lead to the prize hunter when Samis replaced and enters the competition himself. Such an angle would be a great way to transfer the current storyline between KO and the OG Bloodline member. It could ultimately develop into a large Wrestlemania 41 story line, with Sami Zayn returning after a few weeks to seek revenge for the attack.

A match between Ko and Sami would undoubtedly be a great addition to the showcase of the Immortals Card this year. It is still to be seen how things will unfold on Royal Rumble 2025, and whether Zayn and Owens will have each other’s backs at the coming plen.

Why forgive Kevin Owens Sami Zayn to help Roman Reigns but not Cody Rhodes?

In this entire conversation between Sami and Ko, the prize hunter also revealed the reason why he forgot Sami to help Roman Reigns, but not Cody Rhodes. The 40-year-old star explained that Sami has a Bond from the past with the OTC.

Zayn forgave the OTC for his actions, just as he had forgiven Kevin Owens for his earlier actions and reunited with him. This is why Sami Zayn’s actions are somehow justified for Owens, and the prize hunter did not attack him in the same way as with the American nightmare.

Ko also explained that Cody had no positive history with Reigns, which means he had to help the original tribal chef less. This is why Owens opposes Rhodes, but not his friend Sami Zayn.
