Samsung’s Fan Edition (FE) tablets have become a reliable choice for those looking for a budget-friendly alternative to the premium Galaxy Tab series.
After the success of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, it seems that the Galaxy Tab S10 FE is on the way.
Here’s everything we know so far about the Galaxy Tab S10 FE’s release date, price, and expected features.
When will the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE be released?
Samsung has not yet announced an official release date for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE. However, there are signs that it could start relatively soon.
According to GalaxyClub’s report, a promotion on Samsung’s US website, which offers a one-year Goodnotes subscription for buyers of the Tab S10 and Tab S10 FE, specifies that the deal is valid for devices purchased and activated by July 31, 2025. This all but confirms that the Tab S10 FE will hit the market well before that date.

Looking at Samsung’s history, the Tab S7 FE was launched in June 2021, while the Tab S9 FE debuted in October 2023.
This inconsistent timeline makes predictions difficult, but some suggest the Tab S10 FE could launch alongside the Galaxy S25 series in January 2025, or with the Galaxy A56, expected in March 2025.
Either way, a 2025 release seems very likely.
How much will the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE cost?
Pricing for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE has yet to be confirmed, but if Samsung follows its usual strategy, the tablet should be aimed at mid-range Android tablet buyers.
Jon Mundy / Foundry
The Tab S9 FE cost $449 / £449 for the base model with Wi-Fi only, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, with the same FE+ version starting at £599 / $599.
A similar pricing structure is expected for the Tab S10 FE series.
What specifications and features will the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE have?
While official details remain scarce, rumors and leaks give us a good idea of what to expect from the Galaxy Tab S10 FE.
Design
The Galaxy Tab S10 FE will likely retain the sleek and minimalist design language of its predecessors.

What’s new, however, is that it will likely support Samsung’s Book Cover Keyboard accessories, and according to speaker Anthony on X it could include the new Galaxy AI button found on the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra.
Display
Samsung’s FE tablets have traditionally used LCD panels instead of the AMOLED screens found in premium models.
As such, the Tab S10 FE will likely feature a vibrant LCD display, possibly in an 11-inch size, to fill the gap left by the flagship Tab S10 series, which only includes larger models.
Performance
According to GizmoChina’s report, speculation points to the Exynos 1580 chipset powering the Galaxy Tab S10 FE, a step up from the Exynos 1380 used in the Tab S9 FE series.
This should deliver better performance and energy efficiency, with the latter potentially extending battery life.
Leaker Anthony suggests it could be an Exynos 2400e chipset, although this isn’t based on concrete evidence.

The tablet is expected to offer configurations with 6/8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage, in line with its predecessor.
Cameras
A notable upgrade for the Tab S10 FE series is the primary camera, which (according to GalaxyClub) will feature a 12Mp sensor, compared to the 8Mp camera in the Tab S9 FE.
This should improve photo and video quality, making it better suited for casual photography and video calls.
Battery and charging
Details on battery capacity are currently unavailable, but Samsung will likely equip the Tab S10 FE with a long-lasting battery suitable for heavy use.
Expect fast charging support, although details remain unclear.
Jon Mundy / Foundry
To recall, the Tab S9 FE had an 8,000mAh battery with 45W charging support, while the S9 FE+ has a 10,090mAh cell with the same 45W charging capacity.
Software
The Galaxy Tab S10 FE will likely ship with Samsung’s One UI 7 skin over Android 15, which offers an easy-to-use interface and access to Samsung’s productivity features.
Judging from Samsung’s website, US buyers will likely be able to enjoy a free year’s subscription to Goodnotes, expanding the device’s appeal for note-taking and productivity.
It’s unclear at this stage whether Samsung will deliver on the Tab S9 FE’s promise of four major OS updates and five years of security patches. For context, the Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra offer seven years of both.
