The Indian cricket player Sanju Samson went to social media on Monday 3 February to share a photo with the captain of England, Jos Butler, with the two exchange jerseys. The moment came after the conclusion of the five-match T20i series, with the last game played at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday 2 February.

The hosts first hit an impressive display and ended up in their 20 overs on 247/9. Abhishek Sharma was the striking performer for India and hit a remarkable 135 out of 54 balls, including seven four and 13 Sixes. His knock set the record for the highest individual score by an Indian in T20Is.

In response, England never seemed to be in the pursuit when the Indian bowlers regularly kept taking wickets. The visitors were thrown away for only 97 in 10.3 overs and lost by a huge 150 runs. With this dominant victory, the men in blue achieved the series with 4-1.

On Monday, Sanju Samson went to Instagram stories to share a photo with the English Jos Butler, where the duo exchanged Jerseys. The two parts a large band that played together for the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL from 2018 to 2024.

Sanju Samson will continue with captain Rajasthan Royals in the 2025 season, while buttler will be seen that represents Gujarat Titans.


Both Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler struggled for runs in the five-game T20i series

Despite the fact that India won the five-match T20i series against England 4-1, Sanju Samson had a challenging series. The opening seizure scored only 51 points over five innings, with a disappointing average of 10.20, his highest was only 26.

On the other hand, England -captain Jos Butler had a strong start of the series and scored 68 of 44 balls in the opening match. He supported that with a solid 45 in the second game. However, he struggled in the last three games and managed only 33 runs. In general, Buttler ended with 146 runs in five innings on an average of 29.20, including half a century.
