It looks like “MomTok” has survived the scandal after all… TMZ has learned that Hulu’s sensational new reality show, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” has been greenlit for a second season.
Sources connected to the docuseries, which has become the streamer’s No. 1 unscripted premiere of the year, tell TMZ … the cast will begin filming the new season next week … with pre-production already in full swing is in Utah.

We’re told season 1 will feature stars, inclusive Taylor Frankie Paul, Demi Engemann, Jen Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, Mikayla MatthewsAnd Whitney Leavitt — are all set to return for season 2, despite the growing drama within the group.
For those who have yet to watch the series, ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ follows a popular group of Mormon mothers who have blown up on TikTok thanks to their MomTok collective.
But as the first season documented, MomTok’s future was in jeopardy when cast member and founder Taylor announced in 2022 that she was divorcing after following a soft-swinging lifestyle with her ex-husband. Tate Paul …suggesting that others in the group also participated.
Taylor found herself at the center of controversy again after she was arrested for assault in February 2023 following a domestic violence incident with her boyfriend. Dakota Mortensen …whom she welcomed son, Always truewith in March 2024.
There were cameras ready to film the aftermath of all the drama… and you can guess how tense it was among the moms.

Of course, there was plenty of other drama fueling the season as well… including Whitney Leavitt’s husband’s porn addiction, a disastrous Meet & Greet at Chippendales, fights between the women, and more.
So we can only imagine what kind of drama is to come in season 2.
