In his lawsuit Janssen, who has just announced his engagement to her RHOC costar Alexis Bellinodemands that Beador pay him back $75,000 for loans he gave her to pay for a facelift and other expenses.
In court documents, Beador claims the couple regularly “shared their finances” during their four-year relationship.
Beador’s lawyer said:[John] And [Shannon] were in a romantic relationship for more than 4 years.
“During the relationship, the parties regularly shared their finances and assisted each other with certain financial contributions.”
Her lawyer continued: “After the relationship soured and ultimately ended, [John] now alleges that the $75,000 he made to defendant during the relationship were loans, subject to specific as-yet-unidentified loan terms such as interest, attorney fees, repayment timing, and the like.
“The suspect denies that the said funds were loans, but simply funds shared during the relationship.”
Shannon chose to fight his claims for reimbursement and even asked that the case be dismissed and her attorney fees covered by her ex after he filed the suit.
Beador argued, “some, if not all, of [John’s] alleged damage has been suffered as a result [John’s] own transgressions, actions, omissions and omissions and thereby remedy by [John] in return for [Shannon] is excluded or reduced accordingly.”
