Leonard, Richard’s brother, submitted a petition that Teresa accused of stealing the valuable items of his brother.

On March 18, Richard’s brother Leonard Simmons-MEDE-MEDEER of Richard’s Estate submitted a petition to Teresa-a petition that is accused of unauthorized property theft and damage in search of compensation.
Teresa has denied that he has taken the ownership of Richard that he has not specifically gifted her, except for a few of his training shorts that she has saved as a souvenir.

In November Leonard claimed that Teresa had taken more than $ 1 million in accessories and other valuable pieces from his house that she ‘refused to return’.
However, Teresa stated in court that the jewelry she owns came as a gift from Richard – claims that Leonard has since been called false.

Leonard claimed that the jewelry was not the only missing item and noted that his brother’s computer, texts for a planned Broadway game, collectable dolls and other visual arts were also taken out of his house.
Leonard’s petition called for the return of the jewelry and all other missing property, together with damage by Teresa.

The missing jewelry includes various high-quality items: a $ 33,000 cartier 18k Panther-like watch, a $ 47,000 cartier Oval Watch, rings with a value between $ 112,000 and $ 219,000, diamond cuff tndons worth a maximum of $ 5.378 and other diamonds with a total of more than $ 1 million.
Moreover, Leonard claimed that Richard had requested paperwork about his jewelry five months prior to his death and had noticed as a personal property.

The fitness legend died in July, only one day after his 76th birthday.

After Richard had passed, Leonard asked Teresa to show the jewelry, but missed several pieces.
Although she told Teresa to remove nothing, she is said to have taken items when she was kicked out of Richard’s house on 26 September 2024.

However, Teresa claimed that the jewelry was a gift that was given to her in 2014 on Thanksgiving and detailed how he had placed a pink diamond ring on her finger.
In a statement she claimed: “Richard came down to the kitchen of the house with different pieces of jewelry and placed them on the kitchen table.

“Richard placed a pink diamond ring on my finger and told me he gave it to me. I was shocked but accepted this generous gift.”
She added: “Later that day, around the dinner, Richard told me he gave me the rest of the gifted jewelry on the kitchen table and said he wouldn’t wear it again and wanted me to have it.

“I thanked Richard for his generous gifts and took all the gifted jewelry that Richard gave me to my room where I kept it until I left the house on September 26, 2024.”
In addition to refusing that she was in the possession of Richard’s lyrics, she continued: “I would like to keep the three pairs of striped shorts to remember Richard, but will display them to confidence if requested.
“I have or know the place of residence of other ‘training clothing’ that Leonard claims that it is missing.”

Richard’s housekeeper claimed that all the jewelry she owns was a gift from him.

The housekeeper, who lived and worked with the fitness legend for almost 36 years, had previously claimed that Leonard had plans to sell Richard’s personal belongings himself.
Her lawyer said: “It seems that Leonard is actively preparing himself for throwing away numerous personal effects of Richard, because he has retained a broker to bring Richard’s house on the market, where all his personal effects were maintained, and has probably made arrangements to remove the personal effects of Richard from the pole, so that it can be sold.
“So Leonard probably also finds agreements to sell, donate or otherwise donate the personal effects of Richard without Teresa input, as Richard was presented in the trust.”
Leonard denied the accusations in a submitted response and also asked Teresa not to be added back as co-trustee of his confidence.
