Skye Blakely is one of the most promising young gymnasts of Team USA. Recently the 19-year-old posed for a photo shoot with Nike and quickly shared Snaps of the same with fans.
Blakely first announced in 2021, when she won the Balance Beam Gold during the Winter Cup and the All-Round title at the American Classic, in her first year that competed as a senior. The gymnast has since won two Golds world championships and three Pan American Championships Medailles.
At the beginning of 2024, Blakely drew at Nike and has since worked with the brand several times. In December 2024 she worked on her first campaign with Nike, with the Air Max DN collection made by Isamaya Ffrench.
Skye Blakely recently worked on another campaign with the brand and promotes the LD-1000 shoes. She went to Instagram some snaps of her photo shoot, writing,
“I am excited to share these looks! Part of my personality is to express myself by my style, from in my sport to daily looks. Skye returns to the competition after repairing her Achilles
Skye Blakely’s 2024 started on an incredible note and the young person was a strong favorite for the Paris Olympic team. However, tragedy hit the American Olympic tests, while the gymnast injured her Achilles tendon during stage training, then pulled herself out of the competition and missed the Olympic Games.
Now, more than six months after the tearing of her Achilles, Blakely has returned to the competition, which represents the Florida Gators in the NCAA. The young person went to Instagram her comeback, write,
“199 days after tearing my Achilles, I was able to make my NCAA debut as a Gator! So extremely blessed and grateful for God to allow me to experience this moment. This recovery has had a lot of tears, a lot of hard work, patience and growing. My parents, teammates, coaches, medical staff and all Gator employees helped me to achieve this moment. I am still on my way to full recovery and only from here. “
With her debut at the Gators, Skye Blakely only participated in the uneven bars and scored a 9,725. While the season continues to unravel, fans will undoubtedly be enthusiastic to see the gymnast in action again.
