“SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE” opened the text scandal of the Department of Defense Group in its cold with host Mikey Madison.
Madison, a recent Oscar winner for ‘Anora’, played a teenage girl gossiping with her friends (Ego Nwodim and Sarah Sherman) about high school and in love with a group chat infiltrated by the American Minister of Defense Pete Hegseeth, played by Andrew Dismukes.
“For your information, green light on Yemen Raid. Rockets went in the air 15 minutes ago,” he said. “Who is ready to glass a few Houthi rebels? Flag emoji, emoji flag, emoji, fire emoji, eggplant.”
The White House was fired this week after the editor-in-chief of the Atlantic Ocean, Jeffrey Goldberg, was accidentally added to a signal group in which Hegseeth, JD Vance and other high-ranking officials discussed confidential plans to attack Houthi rebels in Yemen.
“Israel can bend and distribute better,” Dismukes continued. “Baller. Water squirt emoji. God bless the troops. Aubergine.”
The vice -president, played by Bowen Yang, then went into chat, while Hegseeth asked about his journey to Greenland. “Nobody knows why I am here. Especially me. But praise Trump, our work here is mysterious and important,” said Yang, in a brutal nod to “dismissal.”
A car -horn interrupted the GAB session and Madison said: “Must go, Matt is here to pick me up. We are going to a movie.”
“Who? Gaetz?” Asked Dismukes, referring to the former Republican Congressman who was investigated by the Huis Ethics Panel for accusations of sex trade with a 17-year-old girl. (Gaetz has denied all misconduct.)
“Actually, yes!” Said Madison.
State Secretary Marco Rubio (Marcello Hernandez) was then added to the chat, and when there were three teenage girls in it, he said: “We were completely cut, lol. But would you find it a lot to e -mail your names and home addresses to deportations@ice.gov?”
Madison makes her hosting debut on “Saturday Night Live” and was open in the cold – a rare performance for the host, who normally appears for the first time during the monologue.
