Another day to the start of the long-awaited 2025 Nascar All-Star Race, a non-point-paid race of the season. The event will be held this Sunday (May 18) on North Wilkesboro Speedway. Fans are eagerly waiting at the start of the All-Star Open and Race this year.
The All-Star Race will be disputed on the 0.625-MIJL short paved oval track. 23 drivers will compete on Sunday to get more than 250 laps to get a chance to drive the Victory Lane.
In the All-Star qualification session on Saturday (17 May), RFK Racing driver Brad Keselowski won the post for the Nascar All-Star race on Sunday in North Wilkesboro, because he was the fastest on the track with an average round speed of 77.264 MPH and a time of 87,363.
Keselowski will also start on the post for Heat Race 1. Christopher Bell, who qualified secondly, will start on the post for Heat Race 2.
Qualification also included a pit stop with four tires. Michael McDowell’s #71 Chevrolet Spire Motorsports Team won the 2025 Pit Crew Challenge after recording the fastest pit stop with four tires, with a stop of 12,587 seconds. The crew of the #71 Spire team, composed of former football players, won the $ 100,000 pit crew challenge Bonus as part of the Nascar All-Star weekend.
According to the qualification rules of All-Star, only Keselowski has protected its place in the 250-round Main Event on Sunday. The rest of the grid is determined by the 75-round warm traces on Saturday evening in North Wilkesboro.
