In a video posted on X Through The Hollywood fixAyesha, 35, appears to wipe away tears as she tries to return to her car on Saturday, August 10. The altercation appears to have taken place shortly after Stephen’s gold medal win in the men’s basketball final at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
With her newborn son, Caius, strapped to her chest, Ayesha is seen talking to police officers alongside Steph’s mother for about three minutes. Sonya CurryAnd Draymond GreenSteph’s Golden State Warriors teammate.
Green, 34, can also be heard in the video asking police, “So even after he hits the baby in the head, there’s still nothing y’all can do to get them out of here?” It is unclear what Green is referring to as no physical altercation is captured in the video.

The video begins with Sonya, 58, emotionally asking police officers to stop talking to her as Ayesha, who is holding the hand of another of her four children, and Green talking calmly to other police officers.

They won’t let the driver come here, and they won’t let us go back.”
Another man in the group, who speaks French and acts as an interpreter between the police and the Currys, then tries to diffuse the situation by telling Sonya that “no one is allowed to cross this street at this time.”
As the camera looks at the street scene, police barricades can be seen in all directions as further law enforcement officers surround the area.
The translator then tells Sonya and Ayesha that the police officers are “very sorry for what happened,” which only increases Ayesha’s emotions as she watches her wipe away what appears to be more tears.
Ayesha, Sonya and Green had all been on the sidelines for Stephen’s first Olympic gold medal against France on Saturday. When the game was over, Stephen ran to the sideline to celebrate with his supporters.
The heartwarming moment was shared via social media and showed Stephen jogging before excitedly jumping up and down with he and Ayesha’s son Canon, 6, before giving Ayesha and their newborn a kiss.
Along with Canon and Caius, Steph and Ayesha share daughters Riley, 12, and Ryan, 9.
Caius made an “early arrival” when he was born in May, according to a joint Instagram post from the couple at the time. The announcement came just two months after Ayesha revealed she and Steph were expecting baby No. 4.
