Stipe Miocic returns to the Octagon after almost four years for a fight against the legendary Jon Jones …in front of a packed crowd at Madison Square Garden, which could include the president-elect Donald Trump!
With the UFC heavyweight title on the line… we asked the 42-year-old Miocic if he’d miss 45 (and soon to be 47) to play Dana White for one night, and wrap the belt around his waist when he defeats Bones.
“I’m not against it,” Stipe responded, saying, “That would be cool if a president did it. The president-elect.”
Miocic then looked at someone in the room with him and asked, “[Trump’s] I’ll be there, right?” … which they confirmed.

It corresponds to what Michael Chandlerwho is also fighting on the card Charles Oliveira in the co-main event, told us Thursday…and said DJT told him he would be at UFC 309 if he won the presidential elections.
Of course, President Trump won by a landslidewhich takes into account not only the Electoral College (which determines the winner), but also the popular vote.
FYI: Miocic is a working-class guy from Ohio (a clearly red state), but he’s not overly political.
However, Stipe has occasionally commented on Trump in the past… including when DJT was close killed in an assassination attempt in Butler, PA, on July 13.
If Trump makes a cameo in the most famous arena in the world, then so be it won’t be the first time he showed up this year to support his good friend Dana’s business.
Check out the interview with Miocic… where the future Hall of Famer breaks down everything about the UFC 309 main event, including the magnitude of the fight he believes will be the biggest of his career!
