Swift later addressed the attack, writing: “Walking on stage in London was a rollercoaster of emotions. Canceling our shows in Vienna was devastating. The reason for the cancellations filled me with a new sense of dread and an enormous amount of guilt because so many people were going to come to those shows.”
She said she was “grateful” to Austrian authorities because “thanks to them we mourned concerts and not lives.”
Swift explained why she waited until her tour was over to speak out, adding: “Let me be very clear: I am not going to speak publicly about anything if I think it could provoke those who are the fans who go to the show come want to do harm. my shows.”
