Mark Ingram offered his prediction about what Alabama’s season would look like in 2025. The Crimson Tide had a disappointing outing last season, ended with a 9-4 record and abuse of the College Football Playoff in the first season of Kalen Deboer that seemed to be in charge of the program.
In a recent episode of the Podcast “The Triple Option”, Mark Ingram predicted that Alabama will go through his expected victory for the 2025 season. The Crimson Tide currently has a 9.5 win projection, but the Heisman Trophy winner sees his Alma Mater win at least 11 games.
Mark Ingram expressed confidence in the farmer and his team and broke off what the 2025 season would look like for Alabama Game-by-Game. The Crimson Tide is planned for the same teams as 2024 in conference competitions for the coming season. However, the game sites are reversed.

“In the state of Florida we know the season they had,” said Ingram. “They want to bounce back. Then you have Ulm. Then you have Wisconsin … I go 3-0. Then you have in Georgia. That will clearly be a dog fight.”

Alabama opens the 2025 season in the state of Florida. Although the Seminoles had a terrible season in 2024, they will want to bounce back again this year, creating some challenges for Crimson Tide. Mark Ingram is concerned about playing that kind of game in a non-conference schedule.
“You talk about that in the state of Florida to jump off, week one,” said Ingram. “We talked about the planning. We talked about the potential of planning these types of games to start the year and how it could really influence you.”
“You lose that game, and you are sitting behind the eight-ball. Are you punished for it? Yes, you will. We saw that power of some kind of a kind of not being taken in place last year. So that to start the season will be a big test.”
After Alabama had missed the play -offs last season, there is a widespread conviction that the power of the schedule is less important in the decision of the CFP selection committee. As a result, many coaches have the idea of playing tough opponents in non-league games, because they can be punished for it.
