Mac and Apple software fans are standing up for a treat this summer The next WWDC It has been confirmed that Keynote takes place on 9 June 2025.
As usual with this event, viewers can expect several performances from a very familiar face: senior vice president of Software Engineering, Craig Federighi, aka Hair Force One.
Like all Apple spokespersons, Craig likes to share his expertise about all upcoming releases. However, this man does his segments with a little pizzzazz. This started with a few jokes on stage when WWDC stood in front of a live audience, but the pre -recorded events converted these into short comic sketches.
Love or hate his skits (the Tech Advisor team is absolutely split), you will certainly remember them. With that in mind I have completed some highlights of Craig’s Apple Event Adventures over the years, including some of his latest antics during WWDC 2024.
Craig Federerghi throws himself out of an airplane
Where do I start? For WWDC 2024, Craig assembles a (very silly) crew, and the only way to reach the head office is by jumping out of a jet with apple theme, in company jumpsuits. Craig even gets a modified helmet in the form of his iconic Bonce, where he fulfills the hairpower.
Safety protocols? Never heard of them. Instead, it is absolutely necessary for Craig to pack his AirPods before he jumps from more than 12,000 feet. He even manages to make time to put his iPhone out of the aircraft mode before he uses his parachute.
Shout at the iconic pilot Phil with his top gun-like outfit, 1st-gene iPod and Grumpy Man Energie. He is done with Craig’s antics.
Craig Federerghi gets his James Bond -Inang
Just forget to walk in like all other Apple Chumps. That’s just not how Craig does things.
For its macOS segment in 2020, Craig dramatically reveals a vintage red sports car and drives to a hidden (apparently underground) apple base without a single hair being swept outside on his negligent head.
Extra points are given for the OTT -terty sliding door, the strut through the room, and especially, the fact that Apple CarPlay is installed on this retro vehicle.
Craig Federerghi Heads ‘Downstairs’
The rumors about Apple’s headquarters are like Doctor Evil’s den. We cut away from CEO Tim Cook via a drone shot over the Apple campus, which is not something groundbreaking for these types of events. However, Craig is ready and waiting, with a powerful position in the middle of the room as a character from Street Fighter.
It turns out that he must take us on a twenty (!) Second lifit, where the entire floor opens once he has hit his Apple Watch once. We fall through two apparently empty, empty rooms, before we end up on a final empty room to talk about iOS.
Unfortunately we have not found this function to work on our Apple watches. It only needs to be reserved for Craig.
Craig Federerghi has his Baywatch moment
There are several times when Craig runs – he clearly likes to be in his cardio during WWDC. However, the iPados segment in 2022 is extra special, because Craig starts as fast as the flash through Apple HQ.
The camera slows and gives us an HD recording of the software engineer who runs his hand through his bouncing, silver ditches. He then hits the frame (shoes and all) without breaking the pass in his presentation.
This skiing really brings the hair power to the foreground. Admittedly, this clip has added a different number than in the original, but it only contributes to the humor.
Craig Federerghi seduces a MacBook
Most of the skits from Craig usually occur when he introduces a new segment, so it really has really excited me.
When discussing a new position on how MacBooks now immediately gets out of sleep, he decides to “put the mood” by dimming the lights to a sultry pink and some Barry White playing in the background while he stares far too intimate to the laptop for him.
Buy a room, Craig!
Craig Federerghi evokes an iPad with Magneto Powers
Apple fans will know that Craig loves a demo. In 2023, the Lore Federghi became even more complicated when we heard that Craig apparently has the opportunity to call an iPad as desired and then return it again.
He even assumes a serious concentration expression while he uses his power. You must applaud the dedication. He even brought this joke back in 2024.
Craig Federerghi takes an eye on
This is a shorty, but a goody. Craig continues to prove that he is allergic to walk from one segment to the next by opening a hole in the ground with his foot before he apparently jumps into the abyss.
But don’t worry, he ends up safely in the poorly lit ‘privacy’ room to discuss a serious subject for Apple users.
Now I am desperate to go on tour at Apple’s head office. Not necessarily to get all the juicy details on the new iPhone, but to see these rooms in MI5 style that you enter from the ceiling.
Craig Federerghi does Parkour
First jumps of faith, now that freerunning through buildings … Craig must think that he is in Assassin’s Creed. Fortunately, the senior vice president does not run to a murder contract, but simply the building to talk about macOS.
I especially appreciate the grunts of effort while waving the perfectly usable stairs and the music in skater-style in the background. I can only hope this is how he achieves all his meetings.
Craig Federerghi plays a guitar with three necks
This clip is a nod to what is demonstrably the striking moment of Craig, where he fragped a guitar solo during a live event.
This time he has dumped his characteristic blue shirt and pants for a leather jacket in a motor-like style with emo-style badges from 2000’s on the front. He also holds a guitar with three neck, which is excessive because he really plays one.
However, I will forgive this, because the solo he breaks out is rather impressive, and a great introduction to Ron, the next speaker.
There are many other times-craig accidentally runs in fitness classes, rickrolling a live audience and of course that notorious (but still non -wwdc) time that he tried to demonstrate ID for an entire audience for iPhone X and it didn’t work.
Hopefully there are many more corkers for the YouTube Meme Playbook in 2025. You can read on the headliners of last year’s WWDC -keynote, including Apple Intelligence and the missing function of Watchos.
