In fashion’s defense, it’s too big a phenomenon to be intimidated. This past week has been a fiery ball of style, rolling in full force and affecting everything it came into contact with. Starting in the city of Paris, in full glitter mode for Couture Week, and culminating in the 2024 BET Awards, celebrities sizzled in eclectic pieces with diverse interpretations, appealing to a variety of tastes.

Shimmers had their excitement last week. Naomi Campbell stepped on the pedals in a silver Chanel skirt at the brand’s show Gugu Mbatha-Raw nodded to the embellished vibes in a Prada number with fringes, sequins and applied microcrystal details. Another ubiquitous fad was Thom Browne’s quirky energy on display at Paris Fashion Week. Stars like Teyana Taylor And Jodie Turner Smith wore branded artwork, which killed without restraint.

The looks

Jordyn Bos was in the middle of a sartorial row in Paris last week. She conquered the city and took advantage of her fashion aura.
