The private-public partnership has an initial cost of 8.5 billion euros, covers 90 hectares and is expected to be operational in June 2028, she told BusinessWorld in an interview on July 10.
“The scope is greater than FTI, and the standards are higher,” she said. “This offers farmers the opportunity to improve their food production, improve food quality and hygiene and export high-quality products.”
