The Season 2 finale of The Traitors UK broke the ratings record set by the first episode, keeping the country hooked to television throughout the cold and dreary month of January 2024.
Over the course of the series, 22 participants were slowly phased out. But if you want to know when you can get your next Traitors fix, we’ve got everything you need to know.

When could The Traitors season 3 release?
The BBC has not yet confirmed a release date for The Traitors season 3, although the BBC has confirmed that filming has been completed. If it follows the same pattern as this year, it should be there again early 2025.
In November 2023, the BBC’s head of entertainment, Kalpna Patel-Knight, issued the following statement:
The huge unscripted hit The Traitors is returning for a third series. Expect more psychological gameplay, exciting challenges and of course Claudia at the helm.
The wait for the new season seems long, but fear not. Season 2 of The Traitors Australia is now available to stream on BBC iPlayer. The BBC has also confirmed that season 2 of The Traitors US and The Traitors New Zealand will be released later this year.
Claudia Winkelman’s stylist for the show, Sinead McKeefry, discussed in a BBC article how she has already started her mood board for next year’s outfits. We can’t wait to see them.
What will season 3 of The Traitors UK be about?
We expect the core format of the show to remain unchanged. 22 competitors are likely to converge on Ardross Castle in Scotland to compete for the grand cash prize of £120,000. They will have to complete tasks, solve puzzles and overcome many challenges to win it.
However, several “traitors” will stand in their way. They will be hidden within the group and their job will be to secretly remove the ‘believers’ from the program. It’s up to the contestants to discover who the villains are and eliminate them from the show.
Every week the Traitors kill a Believer, so the group will be slowly cut down over time.
The makers of the show always love to add surprises and twists, so we expect more of that in the next episode.
Who won season 2 of The Traitors?
Major spoilers for The Traitors season 2 below
The final episode featured five contestants: Jaz, Evie, Mollie, Andrew and Harry. During the roundtable, loyal Evie was banished, bringing two traitors to the final game.
Harry and Andrew realized that the two believers had to catch a traitor to end the game and turned on each other. However, the majority went for Andrew, and he was banished.
In the final endgame, Mollie believed that there were no more traitors and was happy to be done. However, Jaz explained his reasons for Harry being a traitor. Ultimately, their fate lay in Mollie’s hands as she chose who to banish.
After an agonizing wait (during which she wrote down a name and rubbed it out), she opted to banish Jaz, the league’s most observant stalwart. Finally, Mollie and Harry had to reveal their roles, leading to the ultimate betrayal when Harry took £95,000 for himself.
