The Pixel 9 wasn’t released until August, but you wouldn’t know it considering how good the deals have been.
On Black Friday, Amazon US dropped the price of Google’s high-end phone from $799 to just $649, its lowest price ever. Normally we’d expect Cyber Monday prices to stay the same, but the Pixel 9 is even cheaper now: it currently costs just $641.98.
It’s worth noting that this price only applies to the 128GB Obsidian trim. The Wintergreen model you see in the photos here costs $649, but that’s still excellent value for money.
Need more storage space? The 256GB model costs $749 from $849, regardless of the color you choose. Apart from a short period in mid-November, this is the lowest price ever.
None of these deals are specifically being marketed as part of Amazon’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday event, but the discounts are no coincidence. Since prices and inventory are likely to fluctuate, we recommend taking advantage before the Amazon sale ends 11:59pm PST tonight.
As our full review shows, there are plenty of reasons why you might want to buy the Pixel 9. It offers Google’s premium hardware, a beautiful display and top cameras at an impressively affordable price, not to mention extensive AI and industry-leading software support.

There are trade-offs, but they’re much easier to look past when you’re paying a lot less than at launch.
It’s not the only Pixel 9 model discounted for Cyber Monday, though. Amazon has $200 off the starting price of the Pixel 9 Pro, which comes down to just $799.
Or there’s the Pixel 9 Pro XL, which costs $849 instead of the usual $1,099.
And if you’re in the market for a foldable device, look no further than the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. If the $1,799 asking price has put you off, a $300 discount makes it much more attractive.
