British athlete Tom Daley gave his diving partner, Noah Williams, a daring gift before they teamed up at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The Olympic gold medalist is competing with Williams in his fifth Olympic Games in the men’s 10-meter synchronized diving, and it appears they are in sync both on the diving board and in their humor.
“I made Noah an ac-k-sock,” Daley, 30, revealed in one YouTube Q&A with Williams, 24, in January, which has surfaced again as the Olympic Games start in Paris. “It was your 21st birthday and we were in the middle of Budapest, and I thought, ‘What am I going to get him for his birthday?’ You know what, I have yarn, I have a crochet hook, and I’m going to make him a sock. ”
In response to a question about how he knew what size to make the sock, Daley said, “I use the one-size-fits-most rule.”
“Are you surprised that I actually wore it a few times?” Williams then asked his diving partner.
“No, I’m not,” Daley replied. “I think you actually posted a picture on your OnlyFans of you in your ck sock. It’s nice that they are being used. Usually people use it as something new that is never really used. So yes, at least it is being used.”
Daley is an avid knitter and was right spotted creating a Union Jack themed item on Saturday, July 27, while watching his Team GB teammates Yasmin Harper And Scarlett Mew Jensen winning bronze in the women’s 3-meter synchronized springboard event at the Paris Olympics.
Daley and Williams will compete in the 10-meter synchronized diving on Monday, July 29. Daley’s husband, Oscar-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Blackrecently shared a sweet tribute to Daley ahead of the Olympics.
“It was just over 16 months ago that our eldest son, Robbie, shared with Tom that he wished he could see his father diving in person at the Olympics,” Black wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, July 23. “Yesterday Tom kissed our boys goodbye before entering the Paris 2024 Olympic Village. Today I took our boys to see what the Eiffel Tower is like [sic], one of my favorite cities in the world. We are so proud of Tom for all the sacrifices and incredibly hard work he put in to reach his 5th Olympic Games and make Robbie’s wish come true!”
Daley and Black, who married in 2017, are proud parents of sons Robbie, 6, and Phoenix, 16 months, who were both born via surrogate mothers.
