Donald Trump has announced another controversial cabinet choice.
RadarOnline.com can feature President-elect environmental attorney and former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announce as head of the Department of Health and Human Services.
The nomination has sparked outrage because of Kennedy’s anti-vaccine activism.
In the event the Senate confirms his nomination, the 70-year-old Kennedy would oversee the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and its nearly $2 billion budget, as well as its thirteen separate subagencies.
The HHS is responsible for administering federal health programs – including Medicare, Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act – and for responding to public health threats, approval of new drugs and vaccine-related research and management.
