Donald Trump’s presidential campaign may not be happy with the former president’s appearance at a convention of black journalists on Wednesday, based on how the event is running.

The statement, which can be read in its full form below, ended with Patton predicting that what she called the “biased and rude treatment by certain hostile members of the media” will “backfire massively” and warned that “you would think the media would have learned something from their repeated episodes of false outrage since President Trump first came down the escalator in 2015 , but some just refuse to ‘get it’”
