The British Prime Minister expressed his support to President Zenskyy as the democratically elected leader of Ukraine.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer spoke on Wednesday with the Ukrainian President Volodyymyr Zenskiy and expressed his support for the leader of Ukraine.
“The prime minister spoke with President Zenskyy tonight and emphasized the need for everyone to work together”, a statement issued by Starmer’s office after the call, with the help of a different spelling for the surname of the Ukrainian president.
“The Prime Minister expressed his support to President Zenskyy as the democratically elected leader of Ukraine and said it was completely reasonable to suspend elections during the war as the UK did during the Second World War.
“The Prime Minister repeated his support for the efforts led by the US to get a lasting peace in Ukraine that Russia stopped from every future aggression.”
