The upcoming benefit concert for the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires will be exciting, engaging and raising a lot of money… and major artists and bands are clamoring for a chance to help.
TMZ has learned… there is an outpouring of interest from musicians wanting to participate… so much so that organizers are expanding the scope of this event.
We’re told more than 50 artists and bands have asked to take part… and right now there are only 24 spots… although organizers are trying to add spots to accommodate the overwhelming response.
The benefit concert, called FireAid, was first announced as being held at the new Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA… but our sources say it will also take place at The Forum… which is just down the street. This is how big this is going to be.
We’re told the performances will also be live-streamed.
The full lineup is still being finalized and we don’t have any names at this time… but we’re told all the artists live in Los Angeles.
We know Taylor Swift And Beyonce — two of the biggest acts in music — won’t be involved… but that’s fair, considering they’re not exactly rooted in LA, despite having their homes here.
There is a huge pool to draw from and this concert is going to be BIG… and it will help a lot of people starting from scratch.

Thousands have been displaced by the Palisades and Eaton Fires, and Los Angeles is now tasked with rebuilding more than 12,000 structures lost in the inferno.
People lost their homes, their businesses, their cars and virtually all their belongings in the fire… and the rebuilding effort will be enormous.
This also applies to this benefit concert.
