Dr. Praeger’s Sensible Foods Inc., from Elmwood Park, NJ, remembers 8,665 cases of the California Veggie Fries (8 oz) of Dr. ir. Praeger because of a non -declared soyal lergen.
The recall was started on April 1, 2025 after the company had discovered the label error. It is classified as a recalling class II, which means that the risk of serious health consequences is low, but temporary or reversible effects are possible for people with soy liles. The recall is underway, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The affected product was distributed among stores in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, California, Indiana, Colorado, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Georgia, New Jersey and Florida.

Consumers with soy lenders are encouraged not to consume the recalled vegetable fries and have to throw the product away or return to the place of purchase. Companies must stop selling or distributing the affected plot.
About allergen
Non -promoted allergens, such as soy, can pose risks for people with allergies, causing possibly causing reactions, ranging from mild discomfort to severe anaphylaxis. Although this is a class II recall campaign with a low chance of serious health results, consumers who experience allergic symptoms must immediately consult a healthcare provider after consuming the product.
