Federal Reserve -chairman Jerome Powell returns to Capitol Hill on Wednesday for the second day of his half -yearly updates on monetary policy.
The leader of the Central Bank appears before the House Financial Services Committee to give prepared comments and then participate in a question and answer session with legislators.
During his testimony on Tuesday in front of the Senate banking committee, Powell commented that indicate that policymakers will follow a patient approach to interest decisions this year. Moreover, he asked several questions and about banking instructions and rejected the possibility of a digital currency of the FED-sponsored Central Bank.
