Big move: Instacart CEO Fidji Simo will be the CEO of OpenAI for applications, the company said this week. Simo is already on the OpenAi plate. She will be given the task of helping OpenAi to scale “traditional” business functions, said CEO Sam Altman, but he did not give any details about what that means.
Speaking of openi: The company decided that its non-profit division will maintain control over its for-profit organization after he initially announced that it was planning to convert to an organization with profit. OpenAI says it has taken the decision “after hearing social leaders and entering into a constructive dialogue with the offices of the attorney general of Delaware and the attorney general of California.”
And talk about CEO movements: 11x CEO Hasan Sukar has announced that he would be traveling and moved to a “non -executive chairman” position. In March, Techcrunch reported that 11 times had shown on its website customer logos of companies that were not active customers, and one of those companies threatened to sue the issue.
