Westbound lanes of West Sixth Avenue is closed at Wadsworth Boulevard after a multi-vehicle crashThis was reported by the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The roadway, also known as US 6, was closed as of 12:13 p.m. until further notice. Lakewood police said in a post on X.
Traffic will be diverted to northbound Wadsworth Boulevard and motorists will need to detour via Garrison Street to return to West Sixth Avenue.
Drivers can expect major delays in the area, state transportation officials said.
