Justin Baldoni has been removed as a customer by WME.
According to TermOn Saturday, December 21, WME management decided that the talent agency would part ways with Baldoni, in part due to the sexual harassment complaint filed by his It ends with us costar Blake Lively on Friday, December 20.
Lively, in turn, is still represented by WME.
On Friday, Lively filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni, alleging his behavior on set It ends with us – on which he starred, directed and produced – caused her “severe emotional problems.” (Vivid director also produced the film and starred as main character Lily Bloom.)
The lawsuit alleges that during the film’s production in January 2024, a meeting took place to discuss Lively’s claims about the “hostile work environment” on set. The meeting was attended by numerous people who worked on the film, including Baldoni and Lively’s husband. Ryan Reynolds.
As stated in the complaint, Lively’s demands for the meeting include “no more showing nude videos or images of women to Blake, no more mention of Baldoni’s alleged prior ‘pornography addiction,’ no more discussing sexual conquests in in the presence of Blake and others. no further mentions of the cast and crew’s genitals, no more questions about Blake’s weight, and no further mention of Blake’s late father.
In a statement to We weeklyBaldoni’s lawyer Bryan Freedman addressed Lively’s “completely false, outrageous and deliberately salacious” allegations, claiming that the actress filed the lawsuit to “repair her negative reputation” and “retell a story” about the film’s production.
Lively, on the other hand, has accused Baldoni’s team of deliberately dragging her name through the mud through a calculated ‘astroturfing’ campaign.
In his statement to UsFreedman further alleged that Lively made “multiple demands and threats” during filming It ends with ussuch as ‘threatening not to show up on set, threatening not to promote the film, ultimately leading to its demise during release, if her demands are not met.’
In a statement to The New York Times in December, Lively said: “I hope my legal action will help pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak out about wrongdoing and help protect others who may be targeted.” The actress also denied spreading negative information about Baldoni.
