SPOILER ALERT: This post contains spoilers from the “Yellowstone” Season 5 Episode 10 episode, “The Apocalypse of Change,” which premiered Sunday, November 17 on Paramount Network.
So John Dutton is dead… what now? That’s the key question in this week’s episode of “Yellowstone,” which is filled with snakes, both real and symbolic. Read on to relive the biggest and wildest moments.
- Wow, it looks miserable in those tepees. Maybe Rip (Cole Hauser) should have listened to the 6666 team about getting other accommodations after all?
- Okay, Rip, Teeter (Jennifer Landon) didn’t follow all the sleeping bag instructions correctly. But maybe yell at her in a few hours, not immediately after she got traumatized by the rattlesnake?
- Honestly, Gator (Gabriel Guilbeau) lets the rattlesnakes cook. They probably taste incredible!
- Beth (Kelly Reilly) drives her Bentley like crazy. How many car accidents has she caused in her life?
- I don’t like this police officer sexually harassing Beth even though she respects the cattle trade.
- So glad Beth made it to the 6666. Outside of the snakes, things have been a little slow in Texas.
- Obsessed with Beth hiding a GPS tracker on Rip so he could never escape her.
- Honestly, Rip, the cowboys are already laughing at you for hooking up with the ranch owner’s daughter. Just go to the suite!
- Beth supports sex workers – you’re happy to see it.
- I’m not sure how much time we should spend watching Kayce (Luke Grimes), Monica (Kelsey Asbille) and Tate (Brecken Merrill) fix up their new house… this isn’t HGTV!
- Nice sponge for 6666 Vodka. Keep that money churning, Taylor!
- Oh yeah, I forgot it was all flashbacks so far this episode. Time for our regularly scheduled chaos!
- Hello, Summer (Piper Perabo). We completely forgot about you too!
- Wow, so John trapped Summer by saying she was grounded, but she actually was issued all this time? I understand they had to write her off the show somehow, but… that’s some serious serial killer behavior. I don’t think Sheridan is too concerned about clouding John’s legacy now that Kevin Costner has left…
- Summer, picking an insult with Beth is foolish.
- It’s nice to see Rip give fatherly advice to Carter (Finn Little) after John’s death. Heartwarming stuff!
- Great excitement for your claps, Beth! Cheers also for your intimidating words to Jamie (Wes Bentley).
- Wow, it was still surprising to see Beth choke Sarah (Dawn Olivieri) and throw her against the wall, even after all the Beth action in this episode.
- Kayce seems like the kind of guy who would have a lot of trouble successfully downloading an app to his phone.
- Jamie is now going to try to become governor? What a betrayal!
- Obviously it wasn’t going to happen, but how chaotic would it be if Rip and Summer connected right now in the airport parking lot? Sure, it doesn’t make sense, but there’s chemistry in this scene and it would spice things up!
See you next week, “Yellowstone” faithful!
