CBS has landed a bonus broadcast of the highly anticipated return of “Yellowstone.” The Eye Network will air the premiere of Part 2 of Season 5 – the show’s first original episode in nearly two years – on Sunday, November 10 at 10pm ET.
That represents a quick secondary airing window for the episode, which premiered earlier that evening at 8pm ET on the Paramount Network. The broadcast on CBS anticipates that evening’s originally scheduled episode of “The Equalizer” and will air after an episode of CBS’ hit “Tracker.”
In other parts of the world, “Yellowstone” returns to Paramount+ on November 10 in Canada and on November 11 in Britain. The show will return to Paramount+ in Latin America, Brazil and France at a later date.
Of course, CBS viewers are no strangers to “Yellowstone,” as the Eye network has previously aired repeat episodes of the hit series’ first three seasons.
The second half of season 5 will consist of six episodes on Paramount Network; The eight-episode first half of season 5 aired from November 2022 to January 2023. The series, created by Taylor Sheridan, first launched in 2018.
“Yellowstone,” from MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, was originally set to release after this final batch of episodes. But as was reported in August, the Western megahit may return for season 6, with Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser in talks for top billing. Reilly plays Bethany “Beth” Dutton, the daughter of Kevin Costner’s John Dutton III. Hauser plays Rip Wheeler, Beth’s wife and an employee and “fixer” of Dutton Ranch.
Sheridan and John Linson are behind “Yellowstone,” which is produced by John Linson, Art Linson, Taylor Sheridan, Kevin Costner, David C. Glasser, Bob Yari, Stephen Kay, Michael Friedman, Christina Voros and Keith Cox. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
