What’s even better – and what sets L’Or’s Barista Sublime coffee machine apart from the competition – is that it’s compatible with capsules from other brands. So not only can you use the included L’Or capsules, but it also works with Nespresso capsules and all pods compatible with Nespresso machines. That means you’re not even tied to one brand of pod for the life of the machine, which is very unusual.
The Barista Sublime was designed by industrial designer Khodi Feiz and made by Philips for L’Or. It has a pump pressure of 19 bar and because it is a double spout machine it can dispense two types of coffee at the same time – or a single drink of double size.
The 200 capsules you receive contain a selection of coffee blends and intensities, including espressos, ristrettos and lungos, as well as some decaffeinated coffee blends. The Sublime machine automatically detects the capsule size and type and brews a short or longer coffee accordingly. All you have to do is fill the 0.8 liter reservoir and insert the capsule of your choice.
