Swedish original series “Veronika” has been renewed for a second season on SkyShowtime, Variety can confirm.
In this crime drama, starring Alexandra Rapaport (“Honour”) and Tobias Santelmann (“The Arctic Convoy”), Rappaport returns as police officer Veronika Gren. Santelmann plays her husband Tomas.

The second season follows the police officer as she continues to struggle with her past and mysterious visions, while eagerly waiting to resume her role on the force.
“As the series unfolds, it finds itself at the center of a dark and baffling murder mystery that stretches back 60 years,” the logline reads. :As Veronika is torn between the world of the living and the dead, her facade begins to crack. An inevitable series of events jeopardizes everything she has worked to rebuild.”
