These are the speakers I would buy for the music lover I love during Black Friday 2024

I’ve seen people copying Kendrick Lamar’s lyrics this week GNX and thus really hold space, and feel strength in it. But whether you like DJ MUSTAAARRRRRRRRD! or the Bad soundtrack, which you’re not going to get Real in it without good speakers. And that’s why you’re really going to love these Home Audio Black Friday deals at Amazon. I’ve personally tried many, if not most, of these choices on this page, and I can especially vouch for the four shown. But you have to be very quick because these great deals won’t defy gravity for long at these prices.

Whether you’re just interested in two-channel or plan to build a surround sound system from separate components, you want your front right and left channels to deliver a wide soundstage with excellent imaging. And that’s exactly what you get from the Dymension tower speakers, which feature a unique bipolar array, meaning two 5.25-inch long-throw midrange drivers and a 1-inch aluminum oxide dome tweeter. on each side. And the reflections from those rear-facing channels cause enveloping energy to flow through the room. That immersion is anchored by the integrated, active 10-inch subwoofer and two passive radiators in each speaker. That’s a lot of muscularity that completes the pure musicality. So if you like low-end, you’ll want to get them at the lowest price during Amazon’s Black Friday sale. Remember, you have to buy two. And while the subwoofers are powered only by adding a convenient power outlet, the tweeters still require speaker cables and an amplifier (you can see some options if you scroll to the bottom of the page). However, if you’re all set, believe me when I say no one says “woof” to these woofers.

Do you want the ability to build out a wireless surround sound system, but would you rather start with a single speaker that works in multiple dimensions (and in a multi-room scenario)? The Sonos Era 300 impressed us when we first tested it in 2023, and it continues to impress all these months later. The speaker decodes and plays natively Dolby Atmos mixes from streaming services such as Apple Music, Amazon Music and TIDAL wirelessly from one source (albeit via the use of the Sonos app). This feature is thanks to a six-driver array positioned forward and upward to provide greater depth. Place an Era 300 in different rooms so you can enjoy songs anywhere in the house. Or for even better stereo and Dolby Atmos performance, add a second Era 300 and pair the two together. And when you’re finally ready to buy a Sonos Arc Ultra soundbar and set up your home theater, you can take two Era 300s and make them your rear channels.

The $500 discounted KEF LS50 Wireless II is the forward-thinking deal you won’t want to ignore. When someone tells me they’re more interested in their playlists than cords, I say skip the components and grab a pair of compact but compelling speakers from KEF (and you can always add a sub later if you’re looking for more low end). With wireless support up to 24-bit/96 kHz audio (and network file support up to 24-bit/384 kHz), the LS50 Wireless II speakers give you access to unadulterated audio, regardless of your service or format(s) of choice. Stream music directly via Bluetooth, WiFi, AirPlay 2 and Google Chromecast (among others), or integrate digital and analog via wired connections including HDMI eARC, Ethernet, coaxial and optical inputs and 3.5mm aux-ins. In each speaker, custom amplifiers deliver 280 watts of power to each woofer and 100 watts to each tweeter, for big, clear, distortion-free sound at any volume. The LS50 Wireless II’s striking, copper-colored Uni-Q driver orients a 1-inch vented aluminum dome tweeter at the acoustic center of a 5¼-inch magnesium-aluminum alloy woofer cone to create a wide listening position that’s detailed and dynamic. Available in multiple colorways, the LS50 Wireless II will brighten up your room and recordings.

Launching in July 2024, the JBL Stage 2 speaker range offers a higher entry level for ambitious hi-fi and home theater enthusiasts. But affordable building blocks don’t mean a boxy sound. Available in Latte (white) and Espresso (brown), the L280F speaker (the towers pictured above) can anchor an Atmos setup or simply provide powerful playback with smooth tempo, lively dynamics and abundant authority. A 1-inch anodized aluminum dome tweeter mounted in a next-generation HDI [High-Definition Imaging] Horn delivers a shockingly wide yet accurate soundstage, while two 8-inch drivers and rear-firing ports extend the crowd-pleasing, powerful bass down to 33 Hz. And if you later decide to add more Stage 2 components, you can rest assured that the voices will be matched for maximum clarity and minimum guesswork. If you want to start with spatial stereo and work your way to a more enveloping experience, the Stage 2 series offers much more than one soundbar can offer (just don’t forget to buy two). Of course, you still need optimized amplification, which is why JBL has also released additional modern audio receivers, including the MA510, MA710And MA9100HPdepending on the channels and features you need (and all on sale).
