A man and a woman were killed in a single-vehicle crash near East 40th Avenue and North Colorado Boulevard in Denver on Saturday, police said.
Denver Police announced the crash on social media at 5:59 a.m., saying it resulted in serious injuries and warning other drivers to expect delays.
Three hours later, the police wrote in an update that both occupants of the crashed vehicle were taken to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
The cause and manner of the victims’ deaths will be released by the Office of the Medical Examiner.
