SPOILER ALERT: This post contains spoilers from the “Yellowstone” Season 5 Episode 13 episode, “Give the World Away,” which premiered Sunday, December 8 on Paramount Network.
It looks like “Yellowstone” is gearing up for one last rodeo, but the show keeps giving to the crowd: Jamie (Wes Bentley) sniffles at another woman! Show creator Taylor Sheridan is ripped, shirtless and whining about corn dogs! Beth (Kelly Reilly) is angrily playing strip poker! Read on for our quick overview of the evening’s events:
- I’ve never understood whether the Duttons are extremely wealthy or debtors with wild loans. The economics of farm life don’t make sense to me!
- Jamie sits depressed in his underwear and yells at the TV… shouldn’t you be running around making plans or shredding more documents?
- Of course, Beth has her brother saved in her phone as something blasphemous.
- Returning to the financial issue, Beth flies privately. How do they get the money to pay for that?
- I want Walker (Ryan Bingham) to comfort me after any future losses I may have. His conversation with Teeter (Jennifer Landon) is so soothing!
- Okay, so with everything in Yellowstone being sold and Rip (Cole Hauser) telling Ryan (Ian Bohen) that everyone needs to find new work, I think this is really the penultimate episode. Unfortunately, this show ends on a bit of a whimper.
- Sheridan shows us a little more of Travis’ private life, and he’s… a drinking, gambling, fairly irresponsible horn? Every time we saw him he seemed to be very businesslike…
- Oh, Travis’ girlfriend is played by Bella Hadid. How did she get involved with this show?
- Beth dares to ask Travis for help without a commission. I understand that they are having a hard time, but you have to pay people for their work…
- Come on, Beth – at least stay for corn dogs!
- Welcome back, Christina (Katherine Cunningham). Long time no see.
- Wow, Christina’s plan to have Jamie go on the attack is actually pretty clever.
- I would definitely watch a prequel series after Young Rip and Young Travis.
- These announcers are stars. Have them immediately report on other events, such as the Olympics or Jake Paul’s fights.
- Turnpike troubadours? Great gang! This sale produces real talent…
- So the season finale (and final episode?) will be John Dutton’s funeral, right?
- Beth’s solution to grief doesn’t sound all that effective, but it’s very Beth!
- Highlight of the episode: Beth’s brutal attack on Aaron at the bar.
- Poor Teeter. She did her best!
- It’s hard to believe Kayce (Luke Grimes) came up with this mesh idea. Isn’t it some kind of tax fraud?
