Fast chases are a thing of the past after a suspected shoplifter has made a brave attempt to avoid arrest on a motorized wheelchair.
In a video that makes the round online, the suspect in question, dressed in a blue puffer jacket, pulls out of a parking lot and goes as fast as she can in her wheelchair – all while being chased by a British police car.
The suspect woman refuses to cross, despite the bobbies who stares at her on the road with sirens who explode completely.
Users on TIKTOK get a pretty kick from the attempted attempt by the suspect … with many who roast the local authorities because they go so fast in their pursuit of the wheelchair -bound woman.
However, the police acting was just as much an effort of crime if it was a security problem, according to the police.
A spokesperson for the South Yorkshire police tells TMZ … authorities received a phone call on Sunday at 12:25 pm about a potential shoplift incident in the Meadowhall shopping center in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England.
Police officers were looking for a 33-year-old woman who was suspected of wiping some high-quality goods … Before they fled the stage on her mobility device.
We have been told that the police have chosen to chase the woman, not only because of the claim of the shoplifting, but because she drove irregularly. There was concern about the safety of women, as well as for others who drove on the road.
As you can see in the video, the woman in question tried to flee the authorities … but law enforcement tells us that she was eventually held and the stolen items recover.
The spokesperson says that the woman has since admitted to steal the goods … and will be treated for “extrajudicial decision”.
