A Canadian company, Olymel, calls for chicken nuggets because bone pieces have been found in the product.
The Swiss chalet brand frozen chicken fillet nuggets are sold in cardboard boxes of 700 grams. The recalled gold clogs are marked with the UPC number 066701011479 and one of the following codes, BB 2025 SE 07 or BB 2025 SE 26, at the top of the boxes.
The national recall was activated by the company, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).
The CFIA is concerned that consumers may have unused parts of the recall, have frozen chicken nuggets in their homes and encourage them to check label information if they do.
Consumers should not eat the recalled product and must throw it away.
There were no reports about injuries regarding this product reported from the placement of the recall on 19 February.
