Mehmet Oz praised Breathless Private Medicare plans in his popular TV program during the day and in the years that followed. On Friday, the former surgeon promised with the same enthusiasm to fight widespread fraud within the program.
“Part of this is just acknowledging that there is a new sheriff in the city,” said Oz. “We actually have to go behind places and areas where we do not manage the money of American people properly.”
Oz, President Trump’s choice to lead the centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, had been a mother about urgent health policy problems in the months since he was nominated for the crucial function. On Friday, in a hearing for the Senate Financing Committee, OZ revealed his vision for the $ 1.5 trillion agency that neatly matches the ethos of the Trump administration of lowering costs and making America healthy again. It includes disease prevention and at the same time two -part concern about fraud in Medicare Advantage and protecting access to the rural healthcare.
