Halle Bailey received a stamp of approval from Halle Berry on her Halloween costume.
Bailey, 24 – whose name even sounds like Berry’s – dressed up as the 2002 actress Die another day character Jinx, for the spooky holiday on Wednesday, October 30. In the film, Jinx wears an orange bikini after taking a dip in the ocean. Her swimsuit features a triangle halter top, which she paired with matching low-rise bottoms. Jinx completed her ensemble with a white leather holster, which contained a knife.
Bailey executed the look perfectly, right down to Berry’s glamorous details. She ditched her waist-length curls for a wavy pixie cut.
The Little mermaid The actress’ costume made its way into Berry’s feed on Wednesday. She reposted Bailey’s social media photos to her Instagram Story, alongside the caption: ‘You did that!!! I love you angel 🏵️.” In a separate post, she shared more images of Bailey dressed as her. “👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼,” she wrote alongside the photo.
More famous friends also praised Bailey’s appearance via Instagram. “Yesssss!!” Gabriel Union wrote, as Halle’s sister, Chloe Baileyadded: “YASSSS.” Former Bachelorette Charity Lawson said Halle’s costume was “too good,” and Tyla praised: “Yummyyyyy.”
Tyla, 22, also dressed up as one of Berry’s iconic characters for Halloween this year Us major Flintstone vibes in a sexy cave girl costume. (In 1994, Berry played Sharon Stone in the film.) Like Berry, she wore an animal print cropped top and a matching low-waisted skirt. She twisted her brunette locks into a pixie-cut wig and wore bone-inspired jewelry on top.
Singer Coi Leray was another star inspired by one of Berry’s Y2K on-screen characters: Catwoman. She dressed in a black leather bra and pants, which was reminiscent Us from Berry’s 2004 film.
