Justin Baldoniwho directed and starred in the summer hit ‘It Ends With Us’ is taking a moment to thank his fans … who he credits with helping maintain the film’s message amid a reported feud.
We caught up with Justin in New York, where he gave a heartwarming thank you to those who showed up in theaters this summer and supported the romantic drama, which tells the story of a survivor of domestic violence.
He noted… “I want to thank all the fans. To everyone. Thank you for seeing this film, for supporting it, for supporting survivors and for helping to make sure the message isn’t lost. I I’m just so grateful.”
As TMZ previously reported, the debut of “It Ends With Us” was nearly derailed when reports began circulating about a possible feud between Justin and the film’s producer/co-leader, Blake Lively.
As sources told TMZ at the time… Blake felt very ashamed by Justin during production, and also felt uncomfortable during a kiss scene they filmed for the movie.
However, other sources defended Justin, saying there was no clear villain in the drama, noting that the two simply clashed over creative differences.
Regardless, both Justin and Blake appear to have put their issues behind them… neither has publicly discussed the drama.
When Justin was asked for an update on how everyone is doing now, he decided not to reply to our photo… and instead posted the film’s arrival on Netflix.
We see what you did there, Justin.
