The NFL makes a message shift during Super Bowl Lix between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

The competition removes the message ‘final racism’ from the back of one of the end zones in Caesars Superdome of New Orleans for the showdown on Sunday 9 February, according to Athletics. “Choose love” and “It takes us all for” will be painted instead.

It marks the first time since February 2021 that “final racism” will not be written in a super bowl -end zone.

The change was reportedly ‘internally transferred internally to a high -level employees’ internally.

NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy Said that the change was a reflection of recent events, including the January terror attack in the French neighborhood of New Orleans and the plane crash about Washington DC.

“We thought it was a suitable explanation for what the country has passed collectively, given recent tragedies, and can serve as inspiration,” said McCarthy Athletics.

The decision to remove “final racism” from the end zone comes as President Donald Trump Has announced his intentions to attend the competition and to become the first sitting US president in history that the Super Bowl attends.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell This week, supported the diversity initiatives of the competition in the aftermath of Trump, 78, which issued an executive order in January in which federal agencies are instructed to terminate diversity, equity and inclusion (dei) programs.

Goodell added: “We are not here because it is a trend to come in or a trend to get out.”

The NFL launched his “Inspire Change” Social Justice Initiative in 2018, which “focused on reducing barriers for opportunities, in particular in communities of color, and presented how the NFL family cooperates to create positive change”.

Two years later, after the murder on George Floyd And around the peak of the Black Lives Matter movement, ‘End of racism’, ‘It takes us all’, ‘Stop Hate’, ‘Choose Love’ and ‘Voices’ began to appear in NFL -Eindzones.

According to AthleticsAn internal memo at that time said that the messages were meant to show “how football and the NFL bring people together to work as one and use our example and our actions to conquer racism.”
