Sqwincher drink powder recalled due to metal in product

Kent Precision Foods Group, Inc. of Muscatine, IA, is recalling Sqwincher Electrolyte Beverage Mix powder due to possible foreign material in the product, specifically metal.

According to the details published online by the Food and Drugs Administration, the recall started on September 9, 2024 and is still ongoing.

In a letter to customers, Kent Precision Foods Group said this recall is due to the possible presence of small aluminum pieces ranging from 1mm to 4mm in size.

The recalled products were distributed in Alabama, Idaho, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Wisconsin.

  • Product quantity: 251 boxes

159016044 lot# 2B0158245: 2.5 GAL YIELD POWDER – ASSORTMENT (32/23.83 OZ)

  • Product quantity: 1231 boxes

Consumers should not use this product. Recalled products should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.
