The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles offices temporarily canceled driver’s license appointments Thursday due to a statewide outage, state officials said.
The outage was resolved around 10 a.m. Thursday, state officials said.
State officials did not say what caused the outage, but reached out to reschedule morning appointments at state driver’s license offices involving Coloradans seeking a driver’s license, identification card or instruction permit.
Online driver’s license and ID services were also unavailable during the brief outage, but county motor vehicle offices were not affected, DMV officials said in a press release.
All DMV services — including driver license and ID appointments, MV Express kiosks, online services, county motor vehicle services and DMV call centers — will be fully operational as of 10 a.m. Thursday, state officials said.
This is a development story.
