Television’s biggest night returned to the spotlight as the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards dazzled fans and critics alike. After a unique ceremony in January due to the twin strikes in Hollywood, the 2024 Emmys finally graced the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 15. While the evening honored the best TV performances, it was also a parade of style, with stars and creators hitting the red carpet with looks that were nothing short of extraordinary. From timeless elegance to futuristic flair, the fashion at the 2024 Emmy Awards did not disappoint.

Memorable ladies

One of the standout looks of the evening belonged to Selena Gomezwho looked every bit like the TV royalty she is. Nominated for her role in ‘Only murders in the building’ Gomez graced the red carpet in a custom black silk and velvet dress from the Ralph Lauren Collection. The sleek halter dress, hand-embellished with more than 600 diamond-cut crystals on the neckline, was the epitome of glamorous simplicity. Gomez’s look, which complemented her dress with diamond earrings and matching bracelets and rings, was a testament to how minimalism and sparkle can make an unforgettable statement.

Jennifer Anistona perennial darling on the red carpet, once again showed why she remains one of Hollywood’s fashion icons. Aniston stepped out in a silver strapless number by Oscar de la Renta, adorned with delicate pearls that added just the right touch of shine. The sleek column dress emphasized her signature understated elegance, proving that simplicity is often the ultimate sophistication.

Sofia Vergara brought her signature bombshell energy to the Emmys red carpet in a breathtaking strapless Dolce & Gabbana gown. The figure-hugging dress, with its plunging neckline and ruffles, emphasized Vergara’s curves in the most glamorous way. Vergara’s outfit was both daring and classic, epitomizing the sultry sophistication she is known for.

Popular colors

A bold color trend on the red carpet was the radiant shade of red, which was seen on several stars including “Abbott Elementary” Janelle James, “The Rookie: Feds” star Niecy Nash-Betts, And “Reservation dogs” outbreak Nava Mau. James looked striking in a red dress with dramatic pleats and intricate details. Meanwhile, Nash-Betts stunned in a figure-hugging dress that perfectly combined old Hollywood glamor with modern flair.

While red was a popular fashion choice, shades of pink were also popular at the 2024 Emmy Awards. Meryl Streep led the charge in a chic bubblegum pink pantsuit paired with a bow-tie blouse. Eiza González followed by a beautiful light pink Tamara Ralph dress, while “Hacks” star Hannah Einbinder made waves in a dusty pink Louis Vuitton number with layers of crepe jersey and tulle. Pink was clearly in the air, and these stars showed just how versatile the color can be.

Unforgettable men

The male attendees at the Emmys also did not shy away from making bold fashion choices. “The Bear” star Jeremy Allen White kept it classic yet polished in a sleek black tuxedo, while “Fellow travelers” actor Matt Bomer went for a tie-less look and opted for a sleek and modern suit. Meanwhile, Scots Alan Cumming And Richard Gadd both opted for kilts, paying tribute to their heritage in style. Cummings’ cream-colored Teddy von Ranson jacket added a contemporary twist to the traditional ensemble, while Gadd’s plaid cummerbund doubled as a scarf.
