WhatsApp is working on adding threads to messages, which may add both nuance and complexity to conversations.
As spotted on Wabetainfo, the newest beta version of the WhatsApp Android -App contains a function with which you can organize message reactions in Threaded interviews.
How do WhatsApp -Threads work?
The implementation of WhatsApp builds on top of the existing answer system. As ordinary WhatsApp users will know, it is possible to answer individual messages, who quote the original message at the top of the answer.
It seems that the WhatsApp thread system automatically organizes all such answers to a certain message in a separate conversation display.
If WhatsApp nails this implementation, it promises to save those loggge group shits where you check in on an overwhelming scrolling list with various comments. Here you can easily tap the last answer and be brought to a separate thread that only follows that specific conversation eye.

Reason for caution
Anyone who uses a direct message service such as Slack is familiar with the possibility to add individual answers with Threaded to specific messages instead of just adding to a long, linear conversation.
It is a handy way to give Zijbalk on specific topics without disturbing the general conversation.
As Slack users will also know, such a wire system also adds complexity and visual mess to conversations – two things that are not ideal on small smartphones such as the Samsung Galaxy S25.
WhatsApp -theads look promising
Conceptually, the approach of WhatsApp seems at least a lot cleaner. It is crucial that it should not fundamentally change the look or feeling of whatsapp chats.
From the screenshot and the described description (see above) it seems that the function will be there for those who know how to use it without adding junk to conversations.
This new WhatsApp function is mentioned as in development, so this will not be made available for testing for a future update. It would be a huge change in the way WhatsApp works, so we hope the company keeps the landing.
